Best National Park in Tanzania

Tanzania's National Parks and Game Reserves are home to an incredible variety of wildlife, flora and even cultures. Tanzania Holidays remain incomplete without visiting the top destinations that include the Serengeti, Selous, Ngorongoro, and Udzungwa National Parks and Conservation areas. It is followed by the World Heritage site of Stone Town in Zanzibar, then comes the beaches of Mnemba Island and Lake Tanganyika, and of course Africa's tallest mountain, Kilimanjaro.

There is a safari for everyone to suit most budgets for the visitors to Tanzania. Camping safaris can be arranged, but not allowed in Zanzibar.
The Best Tanzania National Parks are:

·         Ngorongoro Conservation Area that borders the Serengeti in northern Tanzania and includes the world's largest crater. It also makes the natural home for almost all species of wildlife in Africa.

·         Serengeti is Tanzania's oldest and most famous park of Africa and shelters lion, cheetah, elephant, giraffe, hippos, gazelle and birds together with a host of other animals. It is the destination for the zebra herd migration.

·         Lake Manyara is a small national park but it's incredibly diverse. It boasts plenty of elephants, tree-climbing lions, leopards, giraffes and more than 400 species of birds including pink flamingos.

·         Selous Game Reserve varies from rolling grassy woodlands and plains, to rocky out-crops cut by the Rufiji River.

·         Gombe National Park is located in the north-western part of Tanzania and is the smallest park, covering an area of only 52 sq. Km. But it is the home for the Chimpanzees, being one of the few remaining places where they can be found in their natural habitat.
